Each piece is an exact copy of an original antique. Our craftsman meticulously hand-carve each component in just the same way as the original piece of furniture was made over 200 years ago. Our furniture is made from our own stock of kiln-dried mahogany which comes from government supervised plantations. The plantations were started on the island of Java by the Dutch colonial settlers, and are a very valuable and renewable resource to the people of the island. |
